Ekwafo is built so that affordable assistance reaches whoever you are. There are four plans, matched to the work you do and what you earn, and you qualify from N$1,000 a month. Every tier can be taken as single or family cover, extending to your spouse, your children and your extended family. Claims are paid within 48 hours of a complete file, because a funeral is not the time to worry about money.

Common Questions
How do I know which plan I qualify for?
Your plan follows what you earn each month. Blue covers N$1,000 to N$5,000, White covers N$6,000 to N$15,000, and both Professional and Expats start at N$15,000. An adviser will confirm your plan and your premium.
What does each family member receive?
The principal member and spouse are each covered for N$125,000, rising to N$135,000 on the Expats plan. Each child is covered for N$27,500, with newborns covered from day one, and each extended family member for N$20,000.
Can I take cover for just myself?
Yes. Blue, White and Professional can each be taken as single or family cover. The Expats plan is written as expatriate cover.
I already have a Namforce funeral policy. What happens to it?
Existing funeral policies continue exactly as they are, and remain fully administered by Namforce. Ekwafo is the plan available to new members. If you would like to know how your current cover compares, speak to an adviser.
How quickly is a funeral claim paid?
Within 48 hours of receiving a complete file: death certificate, certified ID, and banking proof.
What is the notification period?
You must notify Namforce within 180 days of the death.
What documents do I need?
A certified death certificate, certified ID copies of the claimant and the insured, and bank confirmation proof no older than 3 months.
