Who We Are
Namforce Life Insurance Limited is the only 100% Namibian-owned, NAMFISA-registered life insurance provider in the country. Licensed by NAMFISA in August 2017, we exist to protect what matters most to the people we serve. Namforce is a member of the August 26 Holdings group and of NASIA, operating under a strong governance and compliance framework: licensed, independently audited, and committed to accountability, transparency, and ethical practice.
Historical Background
Born from a noble mission — in the early 1990s, soon after independence, the government recognised the need to provide insurance coverage to members of the Namibian Defence Force and Namibian Correctional Service.
Originally administered by various insurers, the scheme was later established as Namforce and officially licensed by NAMFISA in August 2017. From a single institutional client at inception, we have grown to serve eight group schemes and expanded from one product to a full suite of life insurance solutions, while continuing to serve the NDF and NCS. The company is a member of the August 26 Holdings group.
